To make this special bag the yarn has been drawn by tooth and spindle method, where the fibres are separated by teeth and is held on to a hand held spindle. It takes 10 days' work to make one kilogramme of yarn. The bag is lined with hemp/cotton and is padded with upcycled foam to help retain the shape of the bag. The foam is upcycled from larger factory waste (helping keep raw materials out of the waste stream).
